Women's Swimming & Diving Claims NJAC Championship With 218-82 Win Over TCNJ


GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's swimming and diving team claimed the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championship with a 218-82 win over The College of New Jersey on Saturday. The Profs are undefeated in the conference with a 5-0 mark and they have an 8-2 overall record. It is Rowan's third straight NJAC title and 12thoverall. The Profs took first place in the 200 medley (1:50.91) and 400 freestyle (3:40.42) relays. The medley relay included Abigail Brous (so. West Deptford, NJ/West Deptford), Bailey Howarth (jr. Egg Harbor Twp., NJ/Egg Harbor Twp.), Daria Mnich(jr. Clark, NJ/Arthur L. Johnson) and Elizabeth O'Brien (so. Flemington, NJ/Hunterdon Central Reg.). O'Brien, Kylie Salerno (fr. Castleton, NY/Maple Hill), Brous and Miranda Coughlan (sr. Sewell, NJ/Clearview Reg.) were on the freestyle relay. Coughlan came in first in the 50 (24.46), 100 (53.32) and 200 (1:57.48) freestyles.
