Men’s Basketball Announces Signing of Rob Higgins

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, NY – St. Francis Brooklyn men's basketball head coach Glenn Braica announced today the signing of Rob Higgins. Higgins signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) and is set to join the Terriers men's basketball program for the 2019-20 season. "We're excited to add Rob to our program, and we feel that he is a good combo guard similar to Glenn Sanabria early in his career. Rob can really score the basketball and is going to be a very good defender. Although he hails from New Jersey, he has family roots here in Brooklyn, and we look forward to him having a fantastic career in Brooklyn Heights," said coach Braica. Higgins is a 6-foot-1, 175-pound guard from Middletown, NJ and played four years of varsity basketball at Middletown North High School. Additionally, he plays AAU ball for New Heights NYC. The Jersey Shore native concluded his high school career as one of the most prolific scorers in the history of the Shore Conference. Higgins finished his career with 2,278 points, the third-most all-time in the history of the league.
