John Jay's Doug Levy Represents USA Division III Men's Basketball Team on Brazil Tour

NEW YORK, N.Y. (Aug. 14, 2019) - John Jay College men's basketball student-athlete Doug Levy discussed his once-in-a-lifetime trip to Brazil, in the latest edition of the Bloodhounds' Inside the Doghouse feature. "The trip was great," said Levy. "It was great exposure playing against professional basketball players, which is something I wish to do one day." Levy was selected to represent the United States Division III Men's Basketball Team in July, as part of a Brazil tour with student-athletes from around the country. In 2018-19, Levy earned spots on the CUNYAC All-Star First Team and D3Hoops.com All-Atlantic Region and All-Met Third Team. He was also selected as an All-ECAC Honorable Mention and the 2019 John Jay College Athlete of the Year. "A chance to go to Brazil and play with 12 other guys who are at the top of Division III was a great opportunity for Doug," John Jay Head Men's Basketball Coach Ryan Hyland said.
