ASA Brooklyn Avengers Football Team Rises to #16 in NJCAA Rankings in the October 28th 2019 NJCAA Po

Brooklyn, NY – The ASA Brooklyn Avengers football team is ranked #16 in the October 28th NJCAA football poll. The poll is conducted through a combination of a computer algorithm as well as a 16-member committee to determine the rankings each week.

The #16 ranking comes after the Avengers win on October 27th, 2019 against conference opponents Monroe Mustangs (formerly #12 prior to the Oct 27th game). In the previous week, the team was ranked #18. The #18 ranking comes after the team finally cracked the top 20 on October 14th 2019 after 3 consecutive weeks of the Avengers receiving votes, and marked the first time the team has been ranked since the Fall of 2018.
