Melvin Council Jr. Tabbed as NJCAA Men’s Basketball All-American
CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 29, 2022 – One of the best seasons the Monroe College Mustangs men's basketball team has ever season was rewarded appropriately, as Melvin Council Jr. was named to the 2022 NJCAA Div. I Men's Basketball All-America Team as an Honorable Mention, as announced by the NJCAA on Wednesday. Council's selection to the All-America Team makes it eight straight seasons (Monroe did not play in 2020-21) that the Mustangs have had an NJCAA All-American. Most recently
