PACE UNIVERSITY ATHLETICS ANNOUNCES INAUGURAL ALUMNI BOARD

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The inaugural Pace Athletics Alumni Board has been created to serve as a leadership group for theAthletics Department and the Setters Club, which is the primary fundraising and alumni engagement arm for the department. The group will be comprised of alumni representatives from a cross section of class years and varsity sports, in addition to parent representatives.

The mission of the Pace Athletics Alumni Board is to enhance the experience of nearly 500 varsity athletes and to help them excel in the classroom, in competition, and in the community. Members of the group will partner with Pace Director of Athletics Mark Brown and the Office of Development and Alumni Relations on a number of fronts, including alumni outreach and engagement, promotion of special events, serving as a brand ambassador, encouraging philanthropic support, providinginternship and networking opportunities, facilitating volunteer activities, and hosting events.

"We are thrilled to establish the Pace Athletics Alumni Board," said Brown. "We have an extremely proud and passionate group here that will work to connect our alumni community through their peers, in the ultimate goal of enhancing the current Pace student-athlete experience. I am excited to get started and I look forward to the work ahead with our Board."
