Six from Bowling Earn NTCA All-Academic Awards

Brooklyn, N.Y. - Six members of the Adelphi University bowling program were honored by the National Tenpin Coaches' Association for academic achievement this week, earning NTCA All-Academic status. These student-athletes are six of a record 268 honorees at 55 schools, a new best for the organization for both individuals and schools since the inception of the award in 2006. To be recognized, a student athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher for the academic school year. Adelphi's honorees for the past academic year are Kimberly Bonar, McKenna Collier, Rebecca Gotterbarn, Katelyn LaRocca, Olivia Lopera and Lena Sorrentino.
