DELGADO SIGNS TWO-WAY CONTRACT WITH LA CLIPPERS

LOS ANGELES - Seton Hall men's basketball legend Angel Delgado (Bajos De Haina, Dominican Republic) has signed a professional two-way contract with the NBA's Los Angeles Clippers, the organization announced this past Friday. Delgado is the second Pirate in the last three years to sign a contract with an NBA team, joining Isaiah Whitehead, who currently plays for the Brooklyn Nets.

Two-way contracts are a fairly new option in the NBA. Per the rules of the contract, Delgado will spend the bulk of the 2018-19 season with the Clippers' G League team, Agua Caliente Clippers, which is located in Ontario, Calif., and only 44 miles from the Staples Center. Delgado can spend up to 45 days on the NBA Clippers roster.
