Pratt Announces Stephanie Di Mari as New Women's Soccer Head Coach

BROOKLYN – Pratt Institute and Director of Athletics and Recreation Walter Rickard have announced the appointment of Stephanie Di Mari as women's soccer head coach. Di Mari becomes the second head coach of the Cannoneers' program since its start in 2016.

"I am excited to have Stephanie join our team as the head coach of the women's soccer team," Rickard says. "She brings a lot of knowledge as a former player herself and has worked to received numerous soccer certifications. I believe her background will help her relate well to not only the student-athletes but to all the students she comes in contact with at Pratt."

Di Mari brings to the position two seasons as Pratt's assistant coach. Away from the pitch, Di Mari is a Senior Manager of Retail Development at Major League Soccer, focusing on consumer products. Prior to joining MLS, Di Mari was employed as a Marketing Manager at Ralph Lauren and concentrated on Olympics, Golf, Children's, and Men's Polo wholesale businesses.

On her new role, Di Mari states, "It is with great excitement and honor that I accept the responsibilities of head coach for women's soccer at Pratt Institute. I've had the pleasure of assisting in growing this program over the last couple of years under outstanding leadership. It is my goal and promise to keep us on track and moving in the right direction."

Di Mari earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management from Siena College and is currently pursuing her master's degree through Ohio University in partnership with United Soccer Coaches . Di Mari also holds a U.S. Soccer National D coaching license and is a volunteer coach with FC Harlem.
