Coleman, Cerf Join Football Coaching Staff


A captain and three-year All-Empire Eight offensive lineman at St. John Fisher, Coleman was a First-Team selection in his final season in 2016. St. John Fisher was 24-9 in his three years as a starter, and the team averaged 4.3 yards per carry with 161.5 rushing yards per game during that span. The Cardinals played in the ECAC Championship bowl game in each of those three seasons, defeating Western Connecticut State in 2014 to win the ECAC title. Cerf comes to St. Lawrence from San Francisco City College, where he helped lead the Rams to an 8-3 record and a win over Sacramento City in the Capital City Bowl in 2017. He helped coach an offense that averaged 42.9 points and 458.5 yards per game last year. A 2017 graduate of Dominican University of California, Cerf has a decade of coaching experience in California, spanning from the high school to the collegiate level.
