Volleyball Selected Third in AE Preseason Poll

BOSTON, Mass. - The Stony Brook volleyball team was selected to finish third in the America East as the conference released its preseason poll Thursday morning. Albany and New Hampshire were picked ahead the Seawolves, while Binghamton, UMBC, Hartford and UMass Lowell rounded out the seven-team league. Stony Brook is coming off their first America East Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance. Lead by two time All-Conference honoree McKyla Brooks as well as the addition of five freshmen, the team is ready to defend its title. The Seawolves are set to begin the season on Friday, Aug. 24 in Tampa for a South Florida Tournament. The team's home opener will be Tuesday, Sept. 4 when they host St. John's at 6:30 p.m. 2018 America East Women's Volleyball Preseason Poll
