Men’s Basketball Opens European Trip with Win
Rome, Italy – The Fordham men's basketball squad got its 2018 European trip off to a good start tonight, defeating Stella Azzura, 80-71, behind a game-high 23 points from Antwon Portley. Freshmen Nick Honor (13) and Jalen Cobb (12) also finished in double figures for the Rams with Cobb adding seven assists and five steals. Jesse Bunting led all rebounders in the game with 13. Fordham hit ten three-pointers in the game, going 10-for-28 from behind the arc. The Rams played their usual aggressive defense, forcing 27 turnovers and recording 21 steals.
