ASA Avengers ranked #12 in the NJCAA's preseason ranking

Brooklyn, NY – The ASA Avengers kick off the 2018 football season as the #12 ranked team in the NJCAA. The NJCAA preseason ranking is conducted by a 17-member committee from representatives selected by the NJCAA. The Avengers improve their preseason ranking from 2017 where they were ranked #16. The Avengers look to follow up last year's impressive season where they were named the Northeast Conference Champions after compiling a team record of 9-1 as well as winning the Valley of the Sun Bowl against the Mesa Community College with a score of 28-23. This year, they will start off their first game of the 2018 football season against the Nassau Lions on Saturday August 25th at 1 pm. The first home game of the season will be held at Aviator Center on September 22nd 2018 against Hocking College, where we won last year with a score of 76-6.
