Wagner Men's Water Polo Ranked No. 20 In CWPA Preseason Poll

Staten Island, NY - The Wagner men's water polo team was tabbed No. 20 in the Collegiate Water Polo Association 2018 Men's Varsity Preseason Poll heading into its third year of existence. In the 2018 Men's Varsity Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference Top 5 Preseason Poll, the Seahawks were voted to finish tied for second, alongside Bucknell University. After capturing a second-place finish in the newly formed Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) in the Seahawks' 2017 season, highlighted by a a 10-8 semifinal victory over top-seeded Bucknell on November 18, the Seahawks have plenty of optimism heading into the 2018 campaign. With last year's semifinal win, the Green & White reached their first ever MAWPC Championship match in just their second year of existence. Wagner then fell to George Washington University 8-5 in its final game of the season. Head coach Chris Radmonovich and the Seahawks welcome four newcomers in Vuk Bulajic, Lachlan Trabinger, Asher Showers and James MacPherson to the 2018 roster. The Green & White is eager to get started in hopes of improving on a 14-17 overall record (5-5 MAWPC) as well as a second place conference finish.
