Men's Soccer 2018 Season Preview
The ASA Avengers kick off the 2018 Men's Soccer season on September 4th 2018. The Men's Soccer team will travel with the Women's Soccer to play in a double header against Rowan College at Burlington County. The Women's Soccer game starts at 1 pm followed by Men's Soccer at 4 pm.
"We have a lot of players on our soccer team. The key is to find the right chemistry. It will take some time and patience. However, we think we have the right pieces to go far. The goal is to win the national championship," said Men's Soccer Head Coach Brett Polow. "We will accept nothing less."
Brett Polow starts off this season in his first year as ASA Avenger's Men's Soccer Head Coach. Prior to being named Men's Soccer Head Coach, Polow was the Avengers Women's Soccer Head Coach. In that capacity he led the team to the 2017 National Runner-ups in the NJCAA National Championship Game. Polow succeeds former Men's Soccer Head Coach, Mike Grudge. During that time, the Avengers Men's Soccer team went to two national tournaments.
"Mike built a championship level program. He wants us to continue to be a championship level program," said Polow. "I'm looking forward to filling his shoes."
The Men's Soccer team will play 3 home games in the 2018 season:
September 25th vs Ulster County Community College
October 12th vs Monroe College
October 16th vs University of Maine Fort Kent.
