Sblendorio Named Skyline Conference Player of the Week

nnounced junior forward Anthony Sblendorio (Bay Shore, N.Y./Bay Shore) as its Player of the Week for the opening week of the 2018 men's soccer season. Sblendorio netted the first goal for the Privateers in the fifth minute of the season opener against the Webb Institute on Aug. 31. The Bay Shore, NY native added two more goals to complete the hat trick in the 82nd and 83rd minute as he helped Maritime finish off a dominant performance against Webb. Sblendorio and the Privateers continued their strong play the next day as they took down CCNY 5-0. Maritime takes the field again on Wed., Sep. 5 as they take on York College
