Jaspers Head To Toledo For Blue And Gold Tournament
Toledo, OH - Manhattan volleyball will play its final non-conference tournament of the season this weekend at the University of Toledo's Blue and Gold Tournament. The Jaspers open up against Duquesne on Friday, September 7 at 5:00 pm, and continue to Saturday with matches against Morehead State at 10:00 am and Toledo at 7:00 pm. The weekend tournament is a homecoming for Manhattan Head Coach Lora Sarich, who played volleyball at Toledo and graduated in 2007. This will be her first visit back as a head coach, as well as her first return during volleyball season. "I think this will be a neat opportunity to show the team, as I'm building this program, what my background is," Sarich said. Game Notes:
