Masiello Names Thibault Assistant Coach
Riverdale, NY - Manhattan Men's Basketball Head Coach Steve Masiello has named Doug Thibault as an assistant coach for the 2018-2019 season. In this role, Thibault will be involved in all aspects of the program, including, but not limited to, game preparation, recruiting and scouting. "Doug Thibault brings an unbelievable amount of experience to the program, in addition to being a terrific recruiter," said Masiello. "He has coached two of our current players and has great relationships with his former players. He is extremely well-respected by his peers and we are really excited about him joining our men's basketball staff." Thibault has 22 years of college coaching experience and most recently served as the Harcum College associate head coach from 2013-2018. Previous to his time at Harcum, Thibault served as an assistant coach at Longwood University from 2003-2013 and was an integral part in helping the Lancers successfully transition to the Division I ranks. Thibault has worked at Jamestown Community College-Olean (head coach), North Idaho (assistant coach), Howard (assistant coach) and Treasure Valley Community College (assistant coach).
