Ross Jr. named to National Team of the Week

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – After earning a second-straight Liberty League Performer of the Week, first-year wide receiver Andre Ross Jr. has been named to's National Team of the Week. Ross Jr., a native of Washington, D.C., made his collegiate debut with 102 receiving yards against Husson. He then trumped that mark, catching 16 passes for 215 yards and three touchdowns, to help the Dutchmen defeat Coast Guard 28-10. Senior linebacker was named to the National Team of the Week last week, and this marks just the second time that the Dutchmen have earned National Team of the Week in back-to-back weeks. The Dutchmen remain on the road taking on No. 25 Springfield next Saturday, Sept. 15, in Springfield, Mass. Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m.
