Dutchmen Earn 3-1 Win Over St. John Fisher

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - Union College junior forward Salvador Lopez Jr. tallied a goal and an assist to lead the Dutchmen to a 3-1 victory over St. John Fisher, Tuesday evening to improve to 3-1 at College Park Field this season. HOW IT HAPPENED

• Union took the lead in the second minute when senior forward Connor Horan headed in a cross from junior forward Salvador Lopez Jr. from inside the six-yard box. Lopez gave the hosts a two-goal edge in the tenth minute with a shot from the top of the box into the bottom left corner of the net.

• After the Cardinals made it 2-1 in the 12th minute off a volley form inside the box, junior forward Jeremy Conn finished off a through ball from sophomore midfielder Poom Mera to restore the hosts' two goal cushion and close out the contest.

WHAT'S NEXT Union return to action Saturday, Sept. 29, traveling to face Liberty League foe Vassar at 2:00 p.m. (ET).
