Sailing Splits Up For Pair Of Weekend Regattas

THACA, N.Y. -- After three straight outstanding weekends on the water to kick off the 2018-19 season, the Cornell sailing team will split up for multiple events for the first time beginning on Saturday. The Big Red will race at both the Jen Harris Women's Regatta at Navy and the Moody Trophy at Rhode Island. With top two finishes in each of its first two team events, Cornell brings sizable momentum with the first national rankings on the horizon. In Annapolis, Md., Cornell will be among 17 schools competing out of the Robert Crown Sailing Center. The squad placed seventh in the event in 2017. The Big Red will also be one of 18 teams out for the Moody Trophy after placing ninth a year ago.
