Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham University Rams continue their 2018 season, Fordham's 118th varsity season, by hosting the Bryant University Bulldogs in their final nonconference game of the season on Jack Coffey Field on Saturday, October 20, at 1:00 p.m. The game will be streamed live on Stadium and on Facebook watch with Matt Martucci (p-b-p), Dave Owens (color), and Meghan Kluth (sidelines) announcing and broadcast live on WFUVsports.org with Raffaele Elia (p-b-p), Emmanuel Berbari (color) and Chris Boccia (sidelines) handling the announcing chores. Fordham enters the game with a 1-5 record, 1-1 in the Patriot League, coming off a 43-14 league win at Lehigh last week, while Bryant enters the game with a 4-2 overall mark, 2-1 in the Northeast Conference, and is coming off a 48-14 loss to Central Connecticut State in Smithfield, R.I., last Saturday. This will be the fourth meeting between Fordham and Bryant on the gridiron with the Bulldogs leading the all-time series, 2-1. Bryant took last year's meeting, 45-40, in Smithfield on September 23 as Price Wilson completed 26 of 44 passes for 393 yards and two scores for the Bulldogs. A few notes on the game:

Austin Longi

• Senior wide receiver Austin Longi, a Preseason All-Patriot League selection, has 32 catches for 419 yards and one score to bring his career totals to 163 receptions for 2,134 yards and 16 touchdowns. • He leads the Patriot League in receptions/game (5.3) and is second in receiving yards/game (69.8). • Longi ranks tied for seventh on the Fordham career reception list, eighth on the career receiving yards list and tied for eighth on the all-time touchdown reception list. • Senior wide out Corey Caddle has 23 catches for 236 yards and one touchdown so far this season to bring his career numbers to 124 receptions for 1,462 career yards with 15 scores. • Caddle currently is tied for ninth place on the Fordham career receiving touchdowns list and is 13th on the career receiving yards list. • Fordham freshman quarterback Tim DeMorat was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week following the Lehigh game after completing 14 of 23 passes for 299 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for a score. • The 299 passing yards is a Fordham freshman single game record, eclipsing the former mark of 288 yards set by John Skelton against Georgetown in 2006. • The Fordham receiving corps is not a selfish bunch as 14 different receivers have caught at least one pass so far in 2018. • The Fordham Rams have won six straight games when coming off a bye week since 2012. • The Fordham captains for 2018 are senior defensive back Dylan Mabin, and senior tight end Isaiah Searight. • No New York area football team has won more games since 2012 than Fordham, who has amassed 51 victories over that stretch. The closest collegiate competitors are Stony Brook (45), Sacred Heart (39), and Rutgers (34), while the NFL's Giants and Jets have 43 and 41 wins, respectively, each.
