Football Wins 38-9 at Stevens Tech

The Hudson Valley Community College football (2-6) outscored Stevens Tech 17-6 in the fourth quarter to secure the 38-9 win on the road on Saturday afternoon.

The Vikings jumped out to a quick 10-0 lead in the first quarter and extended it to 17-3 at halftime. The third quarter was a defensive stalemate as the Vikings and Stevens Tech failed to score in the quarter.

Hudson Valley's offense came to life in the final quarter as they put 17 points on the board and kept Stevens Tech to a pair of field goals.

Football is back home on Saturday, October 27 as they welcome Erie to Troy, NY to decide the Region 3 championship. The game is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m.
