NEW YORK—The following items are pertinent to Columbia Football's game on Saturday against Yale:
Saturday's game is slated as Heroes Day. As part of this promotion, discount tickets are available for all NYPD and FDNY personnel and all veterans.
Former Columbia Football player Matt Barsamian '07CC will serve as the Honorary Captain at the pre-game coin toss. A First Team All-Ivy League selection in 2006, Barsamian was a three-year starter on the offensive line. He played in 30 career games and was named team captain as a senior in 2006. A Rochester Hills, Mich. native, Barsamian was an Economics major and now Director, Citi Global Markets & Banking-Liability Management.
The Columbia Football team will depart from its locker room to the field at 12:59 p.m. ET. Fans are encouraged to line the LIONSWALK (walkway) to the field.
Lori Sal-Long will sing Saturday's National Anthem.
The New York City Naval reserve officers training corps Color Guard will present the colors.
Today's game will be streamed live on ESPN+ at this link. The game will be aired on SNY on a tape-delayed basis: Saturday, Oct. 27 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. ET, Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 2-5 p.m. ET and Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 8-11 p.m. ET.
