Short Story: The UAlbany volleyball team pushed its win streak to five games after completing a five-set comeback victory at Binghamton on Sunday evening.

“We started off slow but found a way to bounce back and win the final three sets. We finished this road trip with a 5-1 record and clinched two series victory along the way. We are very excited to get back home and play some matches back in our home gym.”
Key Stats:
Binghamton’s Gaby Alicea notched a match-high 22 kills and added a team-best 16 kills.
Nicole Otero earned a match-high 30 digs along the way, her second highest of the season.
Andersen Vaugh posted a career-best 46 assists for the Great Danes.
Akuabata Okenwa recorded her second straight game with three service aces.
Binghamton held UALbany to a .068 and a .154 hitting percentage in the first two sets to jump out to a 2-0 early in the match.
On its way to completing the come-from-behind victory, the Great Danes held the Bearcats to a .065, .000 and .000 hitting percentage in the final three sets.

The victory clinches the series win for UAlbany against Binghamton.
The Great Danes have now won five straight matches.
UAlbany continues to hold second place in the America East standings.
The Great Danes own a 3-1 clip in five-set matches.
Back in Action: UAlbany returns home for the first time since September when they host Hartford and Stony Brook next week in conference action. The team’s final four regular season games will be held in University Gym.
