Golf Concludes Fall Season at Metropolitan Intercollegiate


West Orange, N.J. – The Fordham golf team wrapped up their final event of the fall season at the Metropolitan Intercollegiate on Monday, where the Rams finished in 11th place. Senior Josh Madarang shot up the leaderboard with a final round 73 to go with a 75 on day one for a two-day total of 148, good for a tie for eighth place. Anthony Wells carded a 79 in round two to go with Monday's 74 for a two-day total of 153, tying him for 31st place. Also in action, Mithran Denbow improved nine shots in round two with a final round 75 for a total score of 159, tying him for 61st, Dean Cerimido shot 83 to go with an 82 in round one for a total of 165, tying him for 82nd and Thomas Hayes finished with a two-day score of 166, placing him in a tie for 84th. Freshman Aidan Denning competed as an individual, shooting rounds of 75-82 for a two-day total of 157, good for a tie for 51st place. Saint Peter's won the team championship with a total score of 583, followed by Villanova (597), Iona (598), St. John's (603), LIU Brooklyn (604), Fairfield (606), Monmouth (607), Hofstra (608), Sacred Heart (608), Fairleigh Dickinson (610), Fordham (621), Manhattan (626), Niagara (627), St. Francis Brooklyn (635) and Wagner (644).
