Women's Rowing Competes at Head of the Fish
SARATOGA, SPRINGS, New York - It was a cold, rainy, and windy day on Fish Creek in Saratoga Springs, NY for the Women's Rowing Team on Saturday, October 27th. The Head of the Fish Regatta is an annual race that Marist rowing travels to on the last weekend of October. The regatta is known for awarding fish head plaques and medals to the first-place crews of each event. The course is shorter than the one which the women traversed last weekend in Boston, only being 3200 meters in length.

The women had six more entries that were supposed to race on Saturday afternoon, but deteriorating conditions led to the cancellation of the remainder of the regatta. Coaches Sanford, Rigothi, and Guinan were pleased with the results of the morning races and the fall results thus far. They are an early indication of the ability of the team in the spring season.
