ASA Avengers Men's Basketball 2018-19 Season Preview

Brooklyn, NY – November 1st 2018 – The ASA Avengers men's basketball team opens the 2018-19 NJCAA season with the Dundalk Mixer starting from November 2nd 2018. Last year, the team started off with a 6-0 record but had a mid-season slump before becoming the 2017-18 Region XV Champions and the District III Finalists. The Regional Tournament MVP, #1 Joshua Hightower (guard), went on to St. Louis University and #5 Jose Pabon (guard), went to University of Bridgeport.

The Avengers men's basketball 2018-19 team features four returnees and five freshmen. Three of the returnees are from last year's roster: #3 Cesar Ramirez (combo guard), #5 Robert Eddy Terrero, #20 Revaz Chikovani (Forward) #21 Mohamed Dumbuya (Power Forward/Center). The fourth returnee is #15 Miguel Simon (Center) who was a medical redshirt last season.

The ASA Avengers 2018-19 men's basketball team is led by Devonne Martinez, the 2017-18 Region XV Coach of the Year.
