Women's Soccer to Host First/Second Rounds of ECAC Tournament

MADISON, N.J. (November 5, 2018) - The FDU-Florham women's soccer team will be the host for the First and Second Rounds of the ECAC Tournament this weekend. The Devils earned the No. 1 seed in Pod 3, taking on No 4 seed Wesley at 12 p.m. Saturday afternoon at Robert T. Shields Field. No. 2 Widener will meet No. 3 seed Rutgers-Camden in the second first round match Saturday, with the two sides doing battle at 3 p.m. The two winners will meet Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. with a berth into the semifinals on the line. FDU qualified for the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom Championship, falling to No. 1 seed Misericordia 2-1. The Devils sit at 12-6-2 thus far in the season, and boast a pair of All-Conference performers. Sophomore Amanda Croce was a Second Team choice, while classmate Tatiana Nieto garnered Honorable Mention accolades.
