Rugby Watch Party Set For Saturday

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Vassar College women's rugby team plays in the Final Four on Saturday afternoon, and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is organizing a watch party in Gordon Commons (formerly known as the ACDC) for those who can't attend the game, which will take place in Charlotte, NC. The Brewers take on Coast Guard at 4 p.m., and screens will be set up, allowing fans to view the contest free of charge. All those interested in attending are welcome. Should Vassar win its semifinal, there will be another watch party on Sunday for the National Championship Game. That matchup against either Winona State or Cincinnati is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. Last season, the Brewers fell to Winona State by a 38-36 count in the National Championship Game.
