Howard to tab Michigan offensive analyst Ron Prince as head coach
Howard has gone back to the FBS well to find its next football coach.
The university, according to a report by Football Scoop, is expected to name Michigan offensive analyst Ron Prince as its next head coach.
Prince was influential in the Wolverines being ranked No. 15 in offensive in the FBS in his only season in the role.
Prior to Michigan, Prince was the one-time head coach at Kansas State from 2006-2008, going 17-20 before stints in the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts, and Detroit Lions.
Prince also has HBCU football experience with stints as an offensive line coach at Alabama A&M and South Carolina State in the early 1990s.
Prince replaces Mike London, who accepted a head coaching position at William & Mary after two seasons at Howard.
