Pace Women's Lacrosse Releases 2019 Schedule
PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Entering the second season under Head Coach Tricia Molfetta, the Pace University women's lacrosse team has officially announced its schedule for the 2019 season. Looking to build off of a program-best 14-5 record from a season ago, the Setters will play 17 games in 2019, with seven taking place at Pleasantville's Pace Stadium. "Our schedule this year is the most challenging that it's ever been," said Molfetta. "Last year, we reached goals and successes that our program had never seen before, and we're looking to build off of those and continue to reach new heights in 2019. We're looking forward to getting started later this month, and chasing new goals with this team!" The new campaign begins on Sunday, March 3 when Pace plays host to Caldwell at 1 p.m. It will be the first meeting between the two teams since the 2016 season. Following the season-opener, the Setters embark on a five-game road trip. Pace travels to LIU Post on March 6 before heading to Pennsylvania for the team's first-ever meeting with East Stroudsburg. From there, Pace will travel to Southern Connecticut State on March 19 before closing out the road trip back in Pennsylvania against West Chester University on March 21 in what will be the first-ever contest between the Setters and the Golden Rams. Returning home for the first time in three weeks, the Setters will take on 2018's national champions, Le Moyne. A second-straight tough challenge in Pleasantville awaits three days later when Adelphi, last season's NE10 regular-season champions, visit Pace Stadium.
