Johnson Ties Program Record in Conference Road Win Over Binghamton
VESTAL, N.Y. – The Stony Brook women's basketball team earned its second-straight conference win of the season, taking down Binghamton, 65-56, at the Events Center. Freshman G Shania Johnson (Frederick, Md.) hit seven threes on the evening to tie the program record for made three-point field goals in a single game. Both she and sophomore F India Pagan (New London, Conn.) did the offensive heavy lifting for the team, combining for 45 points. McCOMBS REACTION "I thought our team played really hard tonight. We made a great run in the second quarter and with Binghamton playing on their home court, we knew they were going to come back.
