WASHINGTON, D.C. – Sarah Edmond dropped 25 points to lead Howard to a statement win on Saturday in Burr Gymnasium, upending MEAC defending regular-season co-champion Bethune-Cookman 61-40.

Maryland Eastern Shore 59, North Carolina Central 49

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Maryland Eastern Shore outscored North Carolina Central 22-11 in the fourth quarter on Saturday in the W.P. Hytche Athletic Center to win 59-49 and improve to 3-0 in MEAC play.

Morgan State 62, South Carolina State 51

BALTIMORE, Md. – Adre’onia Coleman led four Morgan State players in double figures with 17 points on Saturday in the Lady Bears’ 62-51 win over South Carolina State in Hill Field House.

Norfolk State 68, Coppin State 63

BALTIMORE, Md. – An 11-point second-quarter lead by Coppin State was not enough to carry the Lady Eagles to victory, as a dominant third quarter by Norfolk State delivered the Spartans to a 68-63 win at the Physical Education Complex.

North Carolina A&T State 67, Delaware State 47

DOVER, Del. – Cinia McCray dropped 23 points to help North Carolina A&T State to a 67-47 win over Delaware State on Saturday afternoon in Memorial Hall.

Savannah State 64, Florida A&M 60

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Jalea Gray and Henaiya Moton each had 12 points for Savannah State in the Lady Tigers’ 64-60 win over Florida A&M on Saturday in the Al Lawson Center.
