Men's Basketball Edged by Northwestern

PISCATAWAY – First-year Scarlet Knights Montez Mathis and Shaq Carterscored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, respectively, in a 65-57 loss to Northwestern (11-7, 2-5) Friday night at the RAC. Rutgers (8-9, 1-6) battled back from a 10-point, second half deficit to tie the contest with five minutes remaining, but was unable to complete the comeback.
