Swimming & Diving Splits Meet at La Salle

Philadelphia, Pa. – (January 19, 2019) – The Fordham swimming & diving teams returned to action on Saturday morning, as the Rams took on the La Salle Explorers at Kirk Pool in Philadelphia. Fordham earned a split in the meet with the women staying unbeaten with a 195-105 win, while the men fell to the Explorers by a 210.5-86.5 count. The Fordham women captured first in 12 of the 16 events on Saturday, led by senior Tara Brunner, who posted three event wins on the day. She won the 50 (23.94) and 100 (57.01) freestyle events, while placing first in the 100 butterfly in 57.01. She also joined Naima Mackrel, Milly Furneaux, and Theresa Mullen on the winning 200 medley relay, which clocked in at 1:46.88.
