Pace Women's Basketball Stifles Assumption, 59-45

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Led by one of their best defensive performances of the year, the Pace University women's basketball team earned a 59-45 win over Assumption College on Saturday afternoon. The Setters, who have now won four of their last five games, move to 5-5 inside the Northeast-10 Conference this season. Inside the Numbers *Alexandra Monteleone (Cold Spring, NY/Haldane) led the Pace offense with a game-high 18 points. She was especially impressive early on, scoring 13 of Pace's first 24 points of the game. Monteleone chipped in a season-high seven rebounds as well.
