Emmitsburg, MD – Winners of four straight games, the Wagner College women's basketball team embarks on a brief two-game road trip, beginning on Monday evening in Emmitsburg, MD as the Seahawks clash with the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers. Wagner is looking for its first season sweep of the Mountaineers since the 2009-10 season, in which the Green & White earned a 64-63 road win at Knott Arena (2/4/10) and two days later, a 64-57 triumph on Staten Island. The Seahawks, who are averaging 73.8 ppg during its current four-game win streak, are in search of their first five-game win streak that last occurred during the 1997-98 season as it was part of a longer six-game win streak, spanning from February 14 through March 4 of 1998. Mount St. Mary's enters tonight's contest looking for back-to-back wins after snapping Robert Morris' conference-unbeaten streak, defeating the Colonials 61-55, on Saturday afternoon.
