St. Francis Brooklyn Men’s Basketball Accepts National Postseason Invitation to CIT

t marks the first time in program history that the Terriers will play in the CIT and their first appearance in a national postseason tournament since the 2015 National Invitation Tournament (NIT). CIT first round opponents will be announced later this week. The CIT uses the old NIT model in which there is no set bracket. Future round opponents are determined by the results of the previous round. All games are hosted on-campus sites. "We're excited to be invited to the CIT and appreciate the opportunity to play in a national postseason tournament. It's a chance for our guys to continue their season and it's something they've earned as a reward for their accomplishments throughout the year. The CIT gives seniors Glenn Sanabria and Keon Williams an opportunity to extend their careers, and it also will serve as a tremendous learning experience for our returners," said Braica.
