#7/8 Statesmen headed to national semifinals

he No. 7/8 Hobart College ice hockey team will face No. 1 University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in the NCAA Division III national semifinals on Friday, March 22, in Stevens Point, Wis., at 8 p.m. EST. The Statesmen bring a 21-7-2 overall record into the contest, matching the program record for wins in a season. The Pointers are 27-0-2 this year. Hobart is making its ninth overall and fifth consecutive NCAA tournament appearance. It's the third time in program history that the Statesmen have advanced to the national semifinals, and the first time since 2009.
