Bollinger's Career Day Leads Seawolves to Thrilling Victory at St. John's


QUEENS, N.Y. – Junior goalkeeper Michael Bollinger(Holbrook, N.Y.) recorded a career-high 18 saves to lead the Stony Brook men's lacrosse team to a thrilling 12-11 victory over in-state rival St. John's on Tuesday afternoon at DeSilva Memorial Field. Eight different players scored to spread the wealth for the Seawolves (6-4, 2-1 AE) that included junior A/M Chris Pickel Jr.'s (Bayport, N.Y.) third hat trick of the season and a pair of goals from both junior A/M Connor Grippe (Setauket, N.Y.) and senior midfielder Owen Daly (East Rockaway, N.Y.).
