Stony Brook Takes Down No. 17 Johns Hopkins on the Road, 12-9
BALTIMORE – The Stony Brook women's lacrosse team reigned victorious on Tuesday night against No. 17 Johns Hopkins. The Seawolves downed the Blue Jays by a 12-9 score at Homewood Field to notch their fourth win in a row and second of the season over a top-20 team. QUOTING HEAD COACH Joe Spallina "Tremendous road win for our squad. Hopkins is a great team and we knew we had to play a great game to be successful. I'm real proud of the way our team stepped up and got contributions from different places. Our defense was real impressive tonight against a potent offense. We will enjoy the bus ride back but all of our attention is on Friday night and Albany. Our team is working and improving and that's all you can ask!"
