Women's Rowing Earns Varsity 4 Boat of the Week

EDISON, NJ - The women's rowing Varsity 4 was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Varsity 4 Boat of the Week, as announced by the conference Wednesday afternoon. The team put together an impressive performance against La Salle Friday on the Schuylkill River, topping the Explorers by 18 seconds. Due to an incoming storm, race officials were forced to shorten the course to 1500M for the Lightweight and Varsity 4 boats. The team took on strong headwinds and choppy waters to finish in 6:29.8. The squad, consisting of coxswain Emma Racanello, Erin O'Brien, Alaina DiDonato, Ahoua Koulibali, and Judy Wong finished with a time of 6:29.8. La Salle finished behind in 6:58.8. The Gaels return to action this weekend at home against Fairfield.
