STONY BROOK, N.Y. – The No. 17 Stony Brook women's lacrosse team will go head-to-head with reigning national champion James Madison in the first round of the NCAA tournament this Friday, May 10. The game will be held on campus at No. 1-seeded Maryland. The winner of Friday's game will face the Terrapins on Sunday. Stony Brook punched its ticket to the national tournament with its seventh-consecutive America East championship, taking down UAlbany, 21-7, on Saturday at LaValle Stadium.
