Brockport Promotes Jaskulski To Track and Field Head Coach
BROCKPORT, N.Y. – With the start of a new season coming quickly and a number of new faces joining the Golden Eagle community, The College at Brockport's athletics staff has promoted one of its long-standing students and faculty members, Ed Jaskulski. At the start of the 2019-2020 school year, Jaskulski will give up his reigns as the head strength and conditioning coach and take over the indoor and outdoor track and field programs as head coach. Jaskulski has dedicated much of his time to molding and teaching young athletes both as the strength and conditioning coach and assistant track and field coach. A 2003 Brockport graduate, Jaskulski has remained a member of the Brockport community since, where he has seen ample amounts of success. This past season he led six athletes in the indoor and outdoor seasons to the NCAA Championship competition and added three more All-Americans to his list of accolades. Subsequently, Jaskulski's efforts were then recognized at the conference level, where he received the award for Men's Indoor Track and Field Coach of the Year. In the last 10 years, Jaskulski has helped over 50 athletes mark their place in the school record book as well as helped produce 102 SUNYAC Champions, 85 National Qualifiers, 13 women's and 13 men's All Americans, and three National Champions.
