WP Names Erin Hendricks Women’s Tennis Head Coach

WAYNE, N.J. – William Paterson University has tabbed Erin Hendricks as head coach of the William Paterson University women's tennis program. Hendricks is the sixth head coach in program history. "I am very grateful for the opportunity to be the head coach of the William Paterson women's tennis team," shared Hendricks. "It has been a dream of mine to be a tennis coach and share my passion for the sport with others. I am eager to join the Pioneer family and start working with the team and athletic department." No stranger to the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) landscape, Hendricks arrives in Wayne after spending the past three seasons as an assistant tennis coach at Kean University. During her tenure at the Union, N.J. institution, the Cougars posted an overall record of 27-18, with an 8-9 mark in conference matches. "Erin's love for the sport of tennis, and experiences as a student-athlete and assistant in the NJAC, will serve to benefit the members of our tennis program," Director of Athletics Sabrina Grant said. "We are looking forward to Erin's contributions to our staff." Hendricks is a 2015 graduate of Kean, earning an undergraduate degree in elementary education. As a four-year standout for the Cougar's tennis team, Hendricks totaled 29 wins including 16 doubles and 13 singles victories.
