Davis to Take Over as Head Cross Country Coach

BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The College at Brockport Athletic Department has announced the addition of John Davis as the new Head Coach for the men's and women's cross-country team. Davis kicked off his coaching career as the head boy's track and field coach at Danvers high school, while also serving as the assistant men's and women's cross country/track and field coach at Endicott College. After two years at Danvers and a third at Endicott, Davis earned the role of assistant men's cross country/track and field coach at Ithaca College. Over his career, Davis helped guide over 20 athletes to conference awards at the collegiate level, while also leading two athletes to national championships in cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field. Davis aims to elevate the Brockport cross-country team and distance unit to new heights, as they pursue conference and national success.
