College football: Purdue’s Amad Anderson Jr. appears to have landed starting job
Former Curtis football star Amad Anderson Jr. has apparently earned a starting job at Purdue University.
The redshirt freshman, who didn’t play in 2018, is a part of a three wide receiver-set in the Boilermakers’ latest depth chart.
The depth chart was released by Purdue on Monday.
According to the SB Nation’s Hammer and Rails blog and purdue.rivals.com’s GoldandBlack notebook, Anderson is slated to start along with junior Jared Sparks and sophomore Rondale Moore. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Anderson is one of only two frosh in Purdue’s offense’s starting lineup.
In one of the most recent Purdue depth charts at the end of June, Anderson was slated to back up Sparks in a two-receiver set.
