Football Travels to Ball State on Saturday
Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham University Rams continue their 2019 season, Fordham's 119th varsity season, by traveling to Muncie, Indiana, to face the Ball State University Cardinals in Scheumann Stadium on Saturday, September 7, at 2:00 p.m. The game will be streamed live on ESPN3 with Jim Barbar (p-b-p) and Mark Hermann (color) announcing and broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and wfuvsports.org with Emmanuel Berbari (p-b-p), Devin Clementi (color) and Chris Boccia (sidelines) handling the announcing chores. Fordham enters the game off a 26-23 season-opening loss to Central Connecticut State last Saturday on Jack Coffey Field while Ball State is also 0-1 on the season after opening the year with a 34-24 loss at Indiana last week. This will be the first meeting between Fordham and Ball State on the gridiron. It will be Fordham's fifth meeting with a team currently in the MAC but the other four games occurred before the respective teams joined the MAC (Akron in 1925, and Buffalo in 1930, 1993 and 1995).
