The Pioneers set the tone early on in this match offensively, as Caissey recorded the first goal of the game and her fourth of the season on a centering pass from Blumenstock to give her team an early 1-0 lead in the 23rd minute. The final Utica College goal came in the 80th minute, where Jenna Keeman (Douglas, MA/Douglas ) recorded her first goal as a Pioneer on a rebound created on a free kick from Lauren MacDonald (Poughquag, NY/Arlington). Overall, The Pioneers outshot the Kangaroos 21-3 en route to their fourth consecutive win to start the 2019 campaign. This year's team is currently chasing history. The only other team in the history of the program to start the season with more than four-straight wins was the 1998 team that started the season with a 6-0 record.
